Hilary Black, R.N.

Hilary is a laser treatment nurse with specialized training and 9 years of experience in aesthetic injectables and cosmetic surgery. Hilary received a B.S. in Marketing and Business Management from USC, Los Angeles, and an A.S. in Nursing from Maric College, San Diego after which she served on the Telemetry Unit at Alvarado Hospital Medical Center prior to working in the plastic surgery field.

She is proficient in leading aesthetic and medical treatment systems including operating, treatment methods and in service training for medical professionals. Hilary performs a variety of specialized laser treatments including laser hair removal, intense pulsed light (photofacials), laser genesis collagen rejuvenation and leg and facial vein treatments. In addition she conducts injections of Botox, Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Ultra Plus & Ultra XC, Restylane and Perlane.

Sally Sayler, R.N./LCSW

Sally began working in the field of plastic surgery as a surgical technician in 1997 after a 20 year career as a licensed clinical social worker. She returned to school to become an R.N. and now works in the operating room and clinic specializing in injectables, laser and post-operative care of our patients. Sally also enjoys family and friends, tennis, kayaking, animals and world-wide travel. She has a special interest in microfinance loans to families in developing countries.

Suzanne K. Macoviak, R.N., M.B.A.

Suzanne has been in the nursing profession for over 24 years with an extensive background in direct patient care, including ICU, CCU, Recovery Room, OR, Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery, Laser procedures and injectables such as Botox & filler products. Suzanne received her nursing degree from Toledo Hospital School of Nursing, one the the last 3 year diploma schools in the country offering 1500 hours of clinical training. She then went on to the University of Toledo to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Health Science. After moving to Southern California, Suzanne completed her Master's Degree in Business from Pepperdine University. Suzanne loves being a mom to her two daughters and two playful dogs. She enjoys biking, horseback riding, swimming and spending time with her daughters.

Carol Volk

Carol is a licensed medical aesthetician and member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists. She has been with our office since 1999 and has practiced in the San Diego area as an aesthetician since 1989. Carol feels it is very important to stay current with the rapidly growing medical skin care field, and she attends conferences and training sessions regularly. Carol's experience and personal touch will help you achieve healthy skin and minimize the signs of aging but customizing a skin care regimen specifically for your skin type. Her expertise includes Biomedic micropeels, microdermabrasion, Obagi blue peels, customized chemical peels, hydration and lymphatic facials, eyebrow artistry and camouflage make-up.
