A browlift is a procedure that can remove sagging skin and wrinkles from the forehead. Our San Diego blepharoplasty patients often choose to have a browlift done at the same time to maximize the rejuvenating effects of their cosmetic surgery.

Brow Lift Patient Assessment
Patients who look tired, angry, or sad because of the furrows in their brow or droopy skin that sags over the eyes are the best candidates for browlift.
Brow Lift Procedure
A traditional browlift, called a coronal browlift, requires an incision across the top of the forehead. An endoscopic browlift uses newer technology and requires much smaller incisions. You and your doctor can decide which technique is right for you during your consultation.
After the incisions are made, the facial plastic surgeon will reposition the muscles that cause frown lines, removing tissue as necessary.
Brow Lift Recovery
Brow lift patients will need to elevate their head for two or three days after surgery to aid healing and minimize swelling. The swelling that does occur should begin to subside within a week.

After a browlift, patients will find that their frown lines are minimized, and that they look rested and content.
